Twelfth night
Twelfth Night, one of William Shakespeare's most celebrated comedies, is a tale of mistaken identities, love, and revelry. Set in the fictional land of Illyria, the story begins when Viola, separated from her twin brother Sebastian in a shipwreck, disguises herself as a young man named Cesario. As Cesario, Viola becomes entangled in a love triangle involving Duke Orsino, who loves the noblewoman Olivia, who in turn falls for Cesario (Viola in disguise). Meanwhile, subplots of mischief and humor unfold among the supporting characters. With its witty dialogue, complex characters, and themes of love, identity, and gender roles, Twelfth Night remains a timeless and joyful exploration of human relationships.
